Have you ever looked out the window of a plane when it is at 30,000 feet? You can literally see the big picture of the earth's landscape, where the rivers are, the roads, towns, farms, trees and little-bitty cars.

It is very difficult for those who are new to discover the landscape of a church. In fact, they will never get connected as long as they feel unfamiliar with the landscape. With that in mind, PHFBC has created Membership Class 101 to assist new families in their quest to know more and become a part of PHFBC.

Membership Class 101 is very similar to looking out the plane’s window. We give you a big picture view of PHFBC. You can expect to meet our teaching pastors, discover what PHFBC believes along with its God-given vision and mission; explore the power of small groups; hear about some of our exciting ministries; learn about how you can connect with others like you and how to personally get involved at PHFBC.

Those who desire to become a member of PHFBC are required to attend and complete Membership Class 101. We want members to be fully aware of God’s call and vision for PHFBC and how they can personally “plug-in” using their time, talents, and treasures.

Each candidate is given a church covenant outlining what PHFBC believes and what a member’s responsibilities are serving Christ and His church. Each candidate, desiring membership in PHFBC, must agree to the church covenant prior to being received as a new member.
